OLMAR S.A. is a family company which specialises in manufacturing autoclaves, steam generators and all types of pressure equipment.
It was founded in 1945 by Olegario García Hevia. Olmar’s history is built on values such as hard work, effort and overcoming challenges, all of which define the company and make it what it is today.
Olmar is located in Gijón, in the north of Spain, in an area with a long business tradition, which means that it can take advantage of all the benefits of an industrial environment and make use of the best communications for its national and international operations. This spirit of integration and teamwork was strengthened with the launch of the Olmar Group, which brought together three large companies (Olmar, Cosermo and Vallina) with the aim of improving their results and increasing their competitiveness.

The quest for innovation and excellence has always been a guiding principle for the company, which has enjoyed strong growth in recent years. An example of this is the recent acquisition of a large new plant, which can be added to the existing facilities, thereby bringing the industrial complex to a total of more than 25,000 m2 of covered space and 70,000 m2 of land. All of these factors make Olmar one of the leading companies in its sector, a benchmark in the international market with great expectations for the future.
